(1 ½ cups) dairy free milk

ground turmeric

ground cinnamon
or 1 cinnamon stick

ground ginger
can substitute for fresh sliced ginger

tsp
vanilla extract
optional
unrefined sweetener of your choice
can use honey, maple syrup or date syrup
pinch of ground black pepper

tsp
ground clove
or use 3 whole cloves

whole cardamoms
or ½ tsp ground cardamom is fine

A small pot
Method
Combine all of the ingredients into a small pot.
Simmer on a low heat for approx. 15 - 20 mins.
Pour into a cup and allow to cool. Best served warm.
